NOMADIY is an online publication about smarter travel. We follow developments in aviation, loyalty programmes, points & miles, hotels, payment cards and other subjects that affect your journey.
Travel news with practical context
We select news for its relevance and add context where possible: what changes, when it takes effect and what it means for travellers. Not every new route or temporary offer merits an article. We consider the actual impact, conditions and usefulness.
The Netherlands edition focuses on travellers from the Netherlands. It also covers relevant Belgian and German airports, international connections and programmes. English articles within this edition cover the same subjects and Dutch market conditions; they are not a separate worldwide edition.
How we work
Where possible, we use primary sources, including official communication from transport operators, hotels, programmes and public authorities. We distinguish confirmed facts from practical interpretation and explain important conditions or uncertainties. Sources and image credits appear in the expandable Credits section at the end of articles.
News articles describe the situation on their publication date. When new information emerges, we retain the original report and, where relevant, add a dated update block linking to the new article. We correct errors in the original reporting. Guides provide lasting explanations and are updated when their content needs to change. A technical adjustment or a new image crop does not make an old article new again.
Guides, recommendations and commercial links
Alongside news, we publish guides explaining choices and conditions, including payment cards and car hire. Some links are affiliate or referral links. NOMADIY or the link holder may receive a commission or reward when you use them; we identify this where applicable.
We compare the relevant conditions and explain when applying directly offers better value than a referral offer. A possible commission does not determine which card our comparison identifies as suitable.
