Data we use
Our website and hosting process technical data such as IP addresses, request times, pages requested, browser information and security logs to deliver the website, investigate errors and prevent abuse. If you email us, we use your email address, name and information you choose to include to answer your request.
Purposes and legal grounds
We rely on our legitimate interest in a secure, available website for essential operation and security, taking visitors’ privacy into account. We use contact information to answer your request and, if you request a service, to prepare or perform that service. We seek consent for optional cookies, external embeds and other tracking where required. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie preferences.
Cookies, videos and external links
Essential technologies support website functionality and remember your cookie choice. Optional technologies load only after consent. An external video provider, such as YouTube, may receive data when you consent and load its video. Our cookie policy describes the technologies used.
Articles may contain referral or affiliate links. NOMADIY or the link holder may receive a commission or reward when you use one. An ordinary external link does not automatically load the destination’s cookies on our website. Once you open the destination, its own privacy and cookie policies also apply. Affiliate tracking is not automatically exempt from consent.
Visitor statistics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visitor numbers and trends, traffic sources, pages viewed, devices, approximate locations and clicks on external links, including affiliate links. Google processes interaction data and cookie identifiers for these statistics. We do not send your name or email address to Analytics. Statistical tracking starts only after you consent to statistics. You can withdraw consent through Cookie preferences. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; its privacy policy applies to its services. Optional sharing with other Google products and services is disabled.
Providers and international transfers
Hostinger provides our website hosting. We use Apple iCloud Mail for email. These providers process data to provide their services. We otherwise share data only where needed for your request or required by law. Processing outside the European Economic Area requires applicable safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. External services also have their own privacy policies.
Retention and security
We retain data only as long as needed for its purpose. We keep correspondence while necessary to handle your request and relevant follow-up questions. Technical logs follow the hosting provider’s operational retention periods; information needed to investigate a security incident may be retained until the investigation is complete. Data subject to a statutory retention requirement is kept for that period. We restrict access and use appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email contact@nomadiy.com. We normally respond within one month and ask for additional information only where necessary to verify your identity. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the competent authority in your country.
