LOT and Thai Airways intend to introduce a codeshare from the 2027 summer season. The airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding, with a final agreement and regulatory approvals still required.
How the partnership would work
A codeshare allows an airline to sell selected partner-operated flights under its own flight number. The proposed arrangement covers destinations in Europe, Asia and Oceania. Specific routes have not yet been announced.
Passengers can already combine LOT and Thai flights within one journey through their existing interline agreement. The proposed codeshare would take that cooperation further.
Following the Warsaw–Bangkok launch
The announcement follows LOT’s launch of Warsaw–Bangkok flights on 7 October. The route uses Boeing 787 aircraft. LOT plans six weekly departures from Warsaw from 2 November, with three a week listed for summer 2027.
