Air France is introducing new menus from 1 October 2026 in Premium, Business and La Première on long-haul flights departing Paris. Travellers connecting from the Netherlands may therefore encounter the changes on their long-haul flight. This announcement does not introduce a new menu on the connecting flight to Paris or in Economy.
New dishes in three cabins
In Business, Mathieu Viannay now creates hot dishes for both meal services, including fregola with Mimolette, squash and preserved lemon. François Adamski designs breakfast and brunch for flights scheduled to depart by 9.30 am; Nina Métayer creates the desserts.
Premium features dishes by Frédéric Simonin: two hot choices, including one vegetarian option. Arnaud Lallement and Claire Heitzler are responsible for the menu and desserts in La Première. Recipes change with the seasons.
Choose your meal before departure
The most useful detail for Business travellers is the option to choose a main course in advance. On eligible flights, this is available through My Bookings from 15 days until 24 hours before departure. Air France offers four hot dishes on most Business flights; pre-selecting guarantees your choice on board.
Travellers who prefer to sleep need not sit through a lengthy dinner. On night flights, Air France combines dinner into two courses. An express option also brings the starter, salad, cheese and dessert together on one tray.
What does this mean for your booking?
For travellers who have already booked Premium or Business, this is a welcome refresh. Upgrading solely for the food is harder to justify: weigh the extra fare mainly against the seat, rest and comfort during your flight. The dishes mentioned offer a taste of the new menu; they should not be treated as a fixed order for every departure date.
