Eurostar services towards Belgium and France will not call at Schiphol Airport or Rotterdam Centraal on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026. They will be diverted via Utrecht Centraal, according to NS International.
Engineering work at Rotterdam
ProRail is replacing Rotterdam’s train signalling system. No trains will run to, through or from Rotterdam Centraal during the work. Replacement is being carried out in stages because the existing equipment has reached the end of its technical life.
Connecting with a flight at Schiphol
The Eurostar diversion runs from 06:00 on 7 November until 22:00 on 8 November. Its usual Schiphol stop will therefore be unavailable for flight connections during that period. This does not mean that Schiphol’s entire railway station is closed.
London-bound Eurostar services will also omit Rotterdam that weekend. NS International directs passengers to Amsterdam Centraal. Check the journey planner for the service and connection applicable to your booking.
