Lufthansa plans to introduce its first Airbus A350-1000 between Munich and Tokyo Haneda on 3 December 2026. Shanghai and Singapore will follow in the subsequent weeks. The longer aircraft will alternate with the A350-900 on these routes, with both types featuring Allegris cabins.

Four cabins with Allegris

The A350-1000 seats 300 passengers: four in First Class, 49 in Business Class, 35 in Premium Economy and 212 in Economy. Allegris is Lufthansa’s redesigned cabin product, including First Class suites and a choice of seating concepts in Business Class.

First aircraft bound for Munich

Lufthansa expects the first aircraft, registered D-AIFA and named Deutschland, to arrive in Munich from Toulouse in mid-November. Its first ten A350-1000s will be based there.

Separate A350-1000 launch dates for Shanghai and Singapore have not been announced. Travellers who specifically want this aircraft should check the equipment assigned to their flight, as the announced routes will also use A350-900s.
