Hilton Honors members with Silver status or higher can now use points to pay for certain hotel charges during digital checkout at participating properties. Launched on 21 October 2026, the Pay with Points feature works directly in the Hilton Honors app without a visit to the front desk.

How Pay with Points works

During Digital Check Out, eligible members can review their bill, choose an available points redemption option and apply points to qualifying charges. The eligible charges and redemption options can differ between hotels. Hilton has not published a single fixed redemption value applicable across all participating properties.

Pay with Points is open to Hilton Honors Silver, Gold, Diamond and Diamond Reserve members. Members below Silver status are not eligible for the feature at launch.

US launch, with Canada to follow

The initial rollout covers 150 participating hotels in the United States. Hilton expects the network to exceed 800 hotels by the end of 2026, before expanding to more than 6,000 participating properties in the United States and Canada in early 2027.

That makes the feature potentially useful to Dutch travellers staying in the US, but it is not available at Hilton hotels worldwide. Check the Hilton Honors app at checkout to see whether the option is offered for your stay.
