KLM will not fly to Dubai through 24 October 2026, inclusive. Flights to Riyadh and Dammam remain suspended through 31 October 2026, inclusive. The airline has corrected its 10 October statement: the extra week applies only to the two Saudi destinations.

Riyadh and Dammam suspension affects the winter schedule

The extension affects travellers booked with KLM to Riyadh or Dammam in Saudi Arabia in late October. The winter timetable starts on 25 October. In its earlier winter announcement, KLM said it intended to resume Dubai, Riyadh and Dammam, depending on the situation in the Middle East.

The latest statement is specific: KLM services to Riyadh and Dammam will not operate through 31 October. This does not confirm a restart on 1 November. A restart of Dubai flights on 25 October has not been confirmed either.

Have a ticket? Check your own booking

Check My Trip for your flight and any changes to your booking. Keep your email address and phone number up to date: KLM uses them to tell you about a cancellation and the available options.

For a cancelled flight, KLM directs passengers to rebooking or requesting a refund. Your booking and the airline’s message show the options applicable to your trip. If you booked through a travel agent, contact that company.

The announcement concerns KLM flights to the three named destinations. It does not describe every airline, every airport in the region or your connecting flights. If your journey involves several carriers, check the complete itinerary.
